Los Cristianos Sunset Tour Review: Whale Watching Ecoyacht

The Canary Islands are just brimming with chances for adventure, alright, and Tenerife, in particular, so too it’s almost something that you might call a gem. When it comes to ways to spend your evenings, that sunset tours are an option, very. Of these, that Los Cristianos Sunset Tour on an Ecoyacht stands out, and a little bit different to other options, I suppose. I figured I’d share my thoughts, a bit, on my experience so that you know what it’s actually like if you’re considering this one yourself.

What to Expect on the Ecoyacht Sunset Tour

The Los Cristianos Sunset Tour, that one makes promises of whale watching opportunities paired with the setting sun glow, or something like that. What you very actually get begins at the harbor, typically where you meet the crew, very ready to help. The yacht is that, well it looks good actually, not huge, not tiny, it’s almost just sized, if that makes any sense? Also, there are some drinks, I believe, and like some snacky type of stuff that the tour has available.

I was just surprised that what really stuck out wasn’t only the boat but it might be the group size, possibly? Not overly packed at all, which can sometimes kinda, like, actually take away a little bit from experiences, basically. So that you’re getting enough room to chill out without bumping into random people all the time, or, well that was quite nice, seriously. The crew that was running the show were pretty keen too, that’s for certain. Basically, that I had the impression that it seemed that they actually cared about everyone there having fun, just as much, clearly. So they were pointing out local wildlife, just actually answering questions, and sharing a little bit of stuff about the area in general too, well naturally.

The Whale Watching Component

Alright, so you have got whales now. That area near Tenerife is pretty well-known for whale watching. Arguably that some species are around most of the time. That is, it’s almost something like a home away from home for these animals. I’ve seen pilot whales out there; these smallish whales often like travelling as a group and hanging out on the water, typically, very. When we came across some, well the boat slowed way down to a crawl, possibly? So it’s possible that you get these better views and plenty of shot taking moments that, that I suppose, is kinda what you are after? On top of this, that there were some dolphins. Pretty sure everyone enjoys spotting dolphins, you know?

And there were like safety rules in place when around the whales, definitely. We had like, kept a fair distance, so to speak, and being calm and not overly loud as well. Just in an effort to respect these aquatic pals, I guess? Like the way that the whole tour valued this kinda thing just showed me something, if I am honest. In some respects, it tells you something that there’s more to what they do than trying to grab some cash. Maybe it’s more about protecting the environment in a way, more or less.

Sunset Views and Ambiance

That’s actually the main event though, I suppose, like when the sun does that thing. Setting over the ocean’s edge, I mean that’s quite beautiful. When you’re on this boat, seemingly bobbing there on the water, that view could be top tier, basically. Or like, when the sky began turning all the sunset shades, that it got pretty quiet out on the yacht, anyway.

The waves go glisteny orange; or so I saw, then the sky transitions to having pinky bits, in short, that’s what happened. Most everyone there looked pretty chilled watching the event, basically. Then there’s that gentle roll from the boat that had its relaxing feel, typically. So the crew dimmed most of the lights; you were actually left soaking the vistas, usually. It was what you call special; this is my personal POV for you, definitely.

The Ecoyacht Angle

Something to point out, now, on this sunset trip, now that this Ecoyacht wants be environmentally sound in some form, right? I thought I would mention why that mattered. Firstly, just things, for one; such as waste rules that, if I remember correctly, had all the reusable utensils available too. Just basically, these are the little things, of course, seemingly that build up that greener ethic a little, instead.

The other aspect to talk about had a lot to do with like, respect for wildlife out on the water, anyway, it’s my POV for sure. The skippers would make this actual thing about keeping that respectful spot, likewise. Which I saw as basically the main thing if the business claims that “eco” thing. Like all of those bits put together that showed something genuine to me. It makes you almost believe they think that environment thing really matters, seriously.

Is the Los Cristianos Sunset Tour Worth It?

If that picture of this tour seems appealing, well it is alright actually. If this trip makes actual sense for yourself; so I would see those aspects:

Sunset Chasers: The sundown over the sea is worth watching here; you might well actually feel relaxed watching that one.
Wildlife Watchers: Those that would be super thrilled viewing whales and dolphins in their house, just chilling.
Eco-Conscious Individuals: If doing activities lightly over the world, then the values match, absolutely.
Chill Seekers: If there’s desire to sit back a bit, instead to sightsee somewhere different on Tenerife.

Now is the reverse; well, just not a thing for you; then consider this:

Budget Travelers: It does get a tiny bit priced for many; there might be alternative stuff out there that matches budget; if you did want lower cost.
Adrenaline Junkies: When a person wants crazy exciting speeds, possibly jet skiing would do tricks that could fulfil the need.
Weather Dependent: Overcast, maybe, just that stunning setting sun view would be a miss completely. Just know the risk, maybe.

To me I would have zero issues endorsing the trip because this was one that I genuinely loved actually. That setting sun out over that water was the best thing of my holidays. By the way; everyone got along so nice with the staff, right too, that also added those happy feels, pretty sure. And knowing the tour likes respecting ocean creatures too that gave me, like, a fuzzy feeling to tell the honest truth. Basically if that tour looks like it may be for yourself. I would actually tell those ones just to grab those chances before anyone bails. I am betting anyone won’t forget the boat tour anyway, virtually!
