Wildlands Emmen Zoo Review: A Thrilling Adventure Awaits
Alright, so Wildlands Emmen Zoo! It’s not just any animal park, you see; very, very, very it’s more of a full-on experience. Like, your regular zoo tends to just show you the animals. Here, at Wildlands, anyway, you’re almost transported into diverse environments. From sweltering jungles to harsh savannas, you get the distinct impression of experiencing the wild. The zoo’s big on this whole immersion thing, actually, making sure that, typically, usually, often, visitors feel like they’re really part of the animal’s environment. It sounds fun, right?
A Trip Through Jungola
First off, there’s Jungola. Seemingly, very, this is the tropical rainforest bit of the park. Actually, that is, anyway, what stands out, tends to be the massive greenhouse structure. Once you step inside, arguably, you’re greeted by the balmy humidity and the kind of vegetation you would only really find somewhere way more tropical. Could be that this whole area teems with playful primates swinging through the vines, colourful birds flying overhead, and, of course, very the famous Asian elephants lumbering around their enclosure. The highlight? More or less, pretty much, in a way, at the end of the day it’s got to be the boat ride. Arguably, this glides you through the waterways. You can get like a real up-close peek at all the wildlife. It tends to be great, not just because of the animals, yet also because, like, at the end of the day, the setting does seem real.
Venture into Serenga
Now, on to Serenga. As a matter of fact, so this savanna environment attempts to copy the African plains. It tends to be, of course, always, a pretty open space. Also, you can spot giraffes gracefully reaching for the highest leaves. As I was saying, there are zebras grazing peacefully and wildebeests roaming around. It could be that very cool element is the Serenga Safari. Basically, actually, honestly, what that happens to be is that, in a way, this bus tour really takes you deep into the heart of the savanna. You, similarly to your actual African safari, you have a good shot at seeing these animals up close and really getting some neat info from the guide.
Face the Arctic Chill in Nortica
So, Nortica is a bit of a contrast after the hot savanna, obviously. Clearly, basically, it replicates the polar regions. Also, here, actually, at the end of the day, you’ll see animals that dig those colder environments, similar to polar bears and penguins. It tends to be very special is the underwater viewing area. We have a good shot at observing the polar bears and seals swimming. Just a little, alright, at the end of the day it’s rather great seeing them glide through the water. We definitely don’t see that often!
Shows and Entertainment
But anyway, besides the animals, honestly, at the end of the day, so there’s plenty of other entertainment. As a matter of fact, right, basically, Wildlands puts on different shows and presentations all through the day. At the end of the day, usually, for instance, the animal feeding demonstrations are often great for seeing the animals in action and actually getting some very good info on their behaviors. It’s almost that, frankly, the park literally also features several play areas. You, unlike children, you may think are like gold, especially if the children are really wanting to just release a little energy!
Dining Options
Right, so you’re definitely going to get hungry when you are walking. The facilities will offer a good number of possibilities to you. You’ve got various restaurant selections. Also, some of them sell basic snacks and fast food, or they really sell even a larger selection with some great hot meals. So that you may literally be in Africa one moment and dining there the next. Don’t expect five star dining or the type, but the various selections allow a full afternoon to occur!
Accessibility
Alright, when you come by automobile. And so that we all tend to understand where to find our entertainment: Wildlands actually does, honestly, also include on-site parking, I mean, if you travel there! Also, because it’s a well liked site and attraction that parking, in the meantime, often, similarly to most destinations, is also typically usually somewhat crowded, especially at times that tend to be more peak ones. I would actually almost literally say that when traveling by bus and the transit from within Emmen you won’t face traffic. It is a short journey via transport!
