Wadi Rum 4×4 Adventure: Honest Review with Lunch & Tea
Thinking about heading to Jordan? You really might want to put Wadi Rum on your list, then think about kicking back and letting a 4×4 tour show you around. The one that comes with lunch and tea? That’s really what makes a lasting impression. Let’s take a better look at how it rolls.
Booking Your Wadi Rum Adventure
Okay, before we get going, let’s talk brass tacks. Making the booking is kinda something you really want to nail. Many operators are doing the same kinda thing, you know, like “authentic Bedouin experience” kinda stuff. I have got to say, reading through reviews really gives you an idea about who seems real and who maybe just kinda wants your money, is that fair? It is really important, too, so you are crystal with exactly what’s included in the price – are we talking lunch? Tea? Water? All that kinda stuff. Pay attention to the tour duration too it’s almost like that. Some can last just a short while, maybe a few hours, while others, they pretty much chew up the whole day so, too it’s almost that you’ve got to figure out what matches how much time you’ve got.
Setting off into the Desert
Here we go, starting out right! Hopping into the 4×4, what a kick! Those drivers? These guys really seem to know this place like the back of their hands and are very professional so, too it’s almost that you are always really safe with them. Right away, what hits you so very hard is just the color of everything – deep reds and oranges are pretty much like you’ve never seen before, yet they stretch as far as you could see, more or less you might say. You cruise along, feeling every bump but hey, is that so wrong? This isn’t about some really smooth ride, right? It is pretty much all about truly drinking in what Wadi Rum’s all about.
Iconic Landmarks and Stunning Views
So, expect to see lots! The tour I experienced included stops at famous spots. These spots were made popular so much in history. There was, like, Lawrence’s Spring. There are these incredible rock formations, what are they, arches and canyons and whatnot and of course the views from all of them. My camera got one heck of a workout! It is a big help too it’s almost that these drivers can tell stories and give info on pretty much anything. They very truly helped everything come even more alive so, too it’s almost like you see why it is all so special.
Bedouin Lunch and Tea Experience
You know, you can go pretty far with nice sights. Then midday kinda appears. So that is pretty much when everyone stops for lunch! It is like the aromas get ya really going so much, you know, delicious traditional Bedouin dishes that are set up. Trust me they are cooked right there in the sand is that correct, yet? And what does one not like about the strong, sweet tea? It hits the spot as it should. Not just that, the break? Well it is an opportunity that is one of a kind for real chatting with others. Also hearing desert stories feels great in a way. I am of the belief you walk off knowing the real stuff so, too it’s almost that the Rum is what matters, it is very obvious why you should value such experience so.
Photography and Sunset
You know, talk about magic – a camera is nearly not capable to document what Wadi Rum sunsets really present. The colors. The expansive, ever shifting color, the soft warm light! it is pretty much so, that if photography drives you, then prepare, that it could well become the best you’ve known in your entire life. Keep chatting too! The sky gives color for miles so, too it’s almost that your friends who may have come too may well love to have them taken for memory and keepsake so.
What to Bring for Your Wadi Rum 4×4 Tour
Planning! That matters just as it would normally. Packing for somewhere you’ve never been before? OK, I would argue for the following tips:
- Sunscreen: That desert sun will punish you as a person, should you become careless. You may not even realize.
- Hat and Sunglasses: Ditto that point, these guys very, very surely work double duty at keeping sun off your head. Eyes do not very often like to look right at the sun either so.
- Comfortable Clothes: That kinda go without saying, too right? loose-fitting layers of clothing will let you easily adjust so it is also nice in sand.
- Closed-Toe Shoes: You know, so maybe the sand does not go where it should not! Some folks like them even more than sandals but yet.
- Water Bottle: Stay hydrated, right? Lots of those excursions? They pretty much give ya access, you may though yet need more so.
- Camera: I am telling you it matters so darned much! One you will seriously wanna capture every inch with so you never really feel as though what you saw is getting too old.
- Cash: For tips so too if at some stop ya wish a few souvenirs.
Is a Wadi Rum 4×4 Tour Right for You?
A big question. You will not be unhappy as a tourist should you want some excitement of your own yet too appreciate nature and just wanting all to seem right so this pretty much must, happen with you! Someone who cannot be apart with some fancy living standard you do not pretty much wanna have all the sand on ya as the thing is so so true but so, that being said yet, some trips are what matter to most everyone but so, being true and also the air should have you so but yeah.
