Top Review: Full Day Private Tour in Sal Island, Cape Verde
Okay, so, you’re thinking of going to Sal Island, Cape Verde, right? And you are perhaps looking at taking a full day private tour to really experience the spot. As a matter of fact, that is what I did. I want to share how it went and what to maybe keep in mind, basically, it’s to see if this sounds like something up your alley.
Why a Private Tour of Sal, Basically?
Basically, alright, here is why I went with the private tour thing in the first place. We went as a family, right? And, you know, trying to keep everyone happy, and to do that on holiday could be tricky, usually. In some respects, with a private tour, so, you get, like, more control over where you actually go and how much time you actually spend there. Like, that’s pretty awesome when you have different folks who are very keen to see different stuff, actually. And too, I wanted somebody who was a bit more local, who really knows all, like, the stories behind the place. Honestly, you don’t always get that with a massive tour group, basically.
Picking the Right Tour is fairly Important
You know, alright, not all tours are totally created equal, is that the right word? As a matter of fact, do your homework before you actually put down your money. What is that the tour company offers? Very, like, what places do they plan on hitting, right? Does it sound good for what you actually want to do, really? We went for a tour that, you know, seemingly, was covering, like, the main attractions but still, like, had room for, you know, changing things around a little. Actually, it also matters who is leading, you know, like, get the guide with the top ratings, it could well make a world of difference, really.
The Salt Mines at Pedra de Lume
We are starting with Pedra de Lume. Anyway, that old volcanic crater has, too it’s almost salt flats. Seemingly, like floating in water which is saltier than the dead sea – seriously is something. I mean the setting, is it not? You will get some views of it when you get there. Take your towel alright, and, by the way, your camera. The pics come out incredible, actually. In some respects, there is a bit to it that almost felt like another planet, alright.
Buracona: The Blue Eye
Alright, next, we got off to Buracona, that, basically, has a stunning spot with, really, what you could refer to as this underwater cave. As a matter of fact, there, when the light hits just at the right spot, you will get like this awesome blue color appearing – which explains that nickname, right? Arguably, the ocean, there, could be very strong, therefore, anyway, be pretty aware of the warnings. I’m thinking that is a spot you could literally just stare at forever, truly.
Lunch is so often at a Local Spot
Anyway, lunchtime. Very, rather than getting caught in, you know, just a place tourists go, like, our guide drove us to that, more or less, local cafe. First, the food, like catchupa, that is a bean stew, and fish so, right off the grill. In fact, I will admit I almost ate myself ill. But even better was getting to, like, talk with people, just local guys, who live in the neighborhood. We would not find that at, say, a tourist restaurant, right?
Shark Bay with Lemon Sharks
I will say that very, arguably, this stop was, well, maybe the wildest part of the whole day. Is that right? Anyway, so, you are, by the way, heading out into shallow waters at Shark Bay and hanging out, alright, with lemon sharks, as it happens. And do not panic; anyway, the guide guys say, clearly, they are safe, you know, or not fussed anyway. Still pretty wild standing, almost, right next to animals like that, clearly. Make certain you have some waterproof shoes you do not actually mind getting soaked, clearly.
Espargos: The Island’s Core
And so, last we stopped at Espargos, too it’s almost the capital, just to get like that glimpse into, seemingly, regular island life. Right? And just pottering around in the local stores, just browsing nearly, is awesome, alright? Is it not almost nicer rather than being in all those places made to almost trick money out of just tourists. That is it? It can be, still, nice to witness real daily happenings, is that not right?
Extra Handy Advice
Alright, so, first stuff, like, very seriously matters for any tour, very.
- Very, don’t ever not remember the sunblock, too it’s almost the sun could be quite strong, alright.
- Also, to stay full of energy you do require drinks and snacks to stash in your pack, almost.
- Clearly, wearing comfortable footwear. You will thank me.
- A bit of local currency may be a neat thought for tiny stuff places may not take cards actually.
So, Was The Private Tour Worth The Dough?
And so, basically, did I feel that a full day private tour actually was worthwhile? To stay basically it. By the way, and I was travelling as part of my group, it actually ensured pretty well anyone got something awesome to experience, almost. That touch is not easy usually, alright? By the way, there actually, were awesome moments where any of the guys went with us had been talking about some weeks later on, just. Should not the greatest moments while, alright, somewhere totally different and discovering new pieces regarding life at, just almost close quarters at that spot? Basically. That basically is what taking those, well, journeys should actually feel to go with, that feeling basically.
Very. That, alright, wraps, pretty much, just how full, right, your trip will be, so. With like, what actually should it be? So. That it would basically, if the idea basically, basically, it basically, I really recommend just to just just. Any. Right?
Basically, here’s basically the thing: actually it just seems all I had thought if so the private actually. The other stuff seemed right as if so with awesome to a very good awesome with things, clearly awesome at the time clearly almost! First the best and like anything great too, clearly with my tour basically?
Alright is there if if you’ve gotten some great tour. Really? Okay cool.
