So, planning a visit to Bogota and thinking of seeing the Salt Cathedral? That is, the Catedral de Sal in Zipaquirá? Very well, it’s a very spot and something that very many folks put at the very top of their lists. After my tour in a group I’ve come away to put my experiences in writing. Why Visit the Catedral de Sal?
Okay so, think about walking deep below the ground, where miners once toiled. Very cool, that it’s the Salt Cathedral, quite the destination. The place isn’t just, that is, just a religious site, but it’s pretty a mind-blowing project and it is also a display of what humans can do. It’s cut right inside a working salt mine. Seems like, too, a bit surreal, doesn’t it? Sculptures and crosses are there, it might be cool to think they all get lit up, just inside those salty walls.
Basically, what’s the hype? It gets called that, or the sort of “First Wonder of Colombia,”. Is that right? So it is, that shows how locals see this spot. So it is a tourist magnet with some faith. Just a spot that pulls on hearts of both backgrounds.
Booking the Shared Tour
Okay so you’re going to be putting yourself on tour? So then, first up: booking! I got me the spot I could on a popular booking website, I did look. Also could use, that is, something direct. I needed to look at the different firms around town. Now that can alter pricing, it has that chance in a way! You also should review what the deals cover. Like your transport. Is it hotel pick up or just somewhere that everyone starts from? Then any tickets? Plus, so very, is their guide speaking what would assist. To translate and know the story well?
Alright. Booking online first helps. You may well compare the price tags, tour goals set out and that fine print, really very important is your cancellation. A little safety measure for times, well like travel mishaps arise…
