But you, too, like me, might be wondering, alright, is it really worth the hype? A truly great experience? Is it perhaps just another fleeting vacation trend, right? I recently did a flying dress photo shoot when I went there, and I’m going to share my full review, telling you, actually, everything about what I thought, including all the good stuff, of course, and, as a matter of fact, some of the things that maybe could’ve been much, much better.

Many people decide to do this on the caldera side of the island because it will give you truly remarkable views that just never quit!

Right, now it’s photo-shoot time! Usually, that’s two or three hours, if not less, so, you move to all of the pre-picked locations and you work with your photographer, okay, so he/she will help you pose, get the dress flying beautifully, right, and ultimately capture those dreamy, special shots. Usually, you will then get the photos sent digitally after editing. Easy, isn’t it?

My Personal Experience: Twirling in Style

Okay, I’ll go into a bit about my thing now. I had that perfect location firmly in mind – Oia, very, very popular of course! The plan was, so to speak, to have that town’s striking architecture and its deep-blue domes as the backdrop to this thing. Initially, alright, picking a dress felt, alright, like, almost like being a kid, to be honest, in a candy shop. So, so many colors, basically, and different kinds of designs to choose between. I actually settled on a vivid red dress, because it was utterly in contrast with the white buildings; I felt it, arguably, would be so bold and attractive!

My photographer was just terrific, clearly making me feel comfortable from the get-go. So, and here’s the important part, is that he wasn’t only skilled at taking photos, but very good at making that dress float; I actually learnt, literally, that somebody else off-camera actually throws it to give that thing such drama in each and every picture, anyway. We walked all around Oia, is that, finally, finding the most superb places to get shots, even though there, clearly, were crowds of tourists everywhere.

Here’s my opinion of it now: The entire shoot felt much, much more than a photo session, actually more like some sort of immersive experience. Right, it was so great, basically, twirling around with that garment and getting so caught up in that stunning scenery that, actually, I lost track of time entirely. Actually, the shoot totally flew by!

The Pros and Cons of a Flying Dress Photo Shoot

Like, every adventure, so, naturally, there, too, were pros and cons about the flying dress thing in Santorini. Here’s the deal:

Pros:

• Unforgettable memories: The photos captured are beyond remarkable. That shot has that Greek island backdrop with that super-dramatic dress; that will probably just look absolutely stunning for years ahead.
• Unique Experience: Beyond a normal photo shoot, it is really all about culture, fashion, and truly making special memories.
• Feel like a celeb: Getting all decked out and becoming the star of your photos, naturally, felt totally thrilling and utterly fun.

Cons:

• Cost: These sessions may be costly, and it is important, very, very important actually, to find a thing that matches what you can afford and what you want.
• Crowds: The crowds may actually take a bit away from, okay, so the vibe because Santorini is such a tourist trap, after all, basically. This will, in a way, impact how the thing plays out.
• Comfort: Some of those dresses can be not easy to move in, or they won’t necessarily work right if that sun’s out strongly!

Okay, alright, this is, I reckon, a biggie. If you decide to do this, alright, is that choosing wisely makes an incredible impact on how the entire experience actually turns out. So, here’s what you must keep an eye on.

• Check their references: Read like every reference, okay, so look at customer experiences. Was that photographer skilled and actually communicative? Check all the little details!
• Dress collection: See all the things they give, how are those garments looking in detail, what’s their state? See the stuff that just grabs you instantly, you know?
• Package deals: What’s actually included, alright, like the length of the thing, the amount of photos, and actually if makeup is added.

Tips for the Shoot:

• Plan ahead: Secure that spot in advance to get that timing and, yeah, that photographer that just works for you perfectly.
• Know what you wish for: Scroll down Pinterest and Instagarm and secure, very, very, very important, some ideas on those locations and poses that spark you, alright?
• Prepare for anything: Toss in items like, oh I dunno, sunscreen, cool H2O and things for, uhm, retouching your looks when out and about.

Is a Santorini Flying Dress Photo Shoot Right for You?

So, after it’s all done, as a matter of fact, is a Santorini flying dress thing truly suitable for just you? The thing actually works if you prefer some superb, eye-catching shots of Greece and that fashion vibe. However, okay, it is probably best, so to speak, if you don’t want all that time being occupied or basically all those hordes of tourists all the time.

Actually, the shots I got are not just like plain old tourist pics, or, really, some visual mementos. Those actually captured my entire spirit of going to the Greek islands, because that dress, like, you know, swirled across that stunning scene felt magic! If all of that is the thing you want and desire, well, is that Santorini thing worth every single thing you put into that? For certain!

Maximizing Your Santorini Flying Dress Experience

Okay, let’s say you want, like, the most wonderful experience ever from it. Here is just a tiny bit more so that that thing just shines!

Okay, get out there ahead in the morning time or those dusk hours. When, obviously, it will all be much cooler and so so quiet there!

Just chill a bit so that you do not feel rushed; use that shoot thing like time that should stay and last inside you and is super pleasing!

Find somebody with who you think your goals are shared and who helps guide and then pep you throughout!

Be fully there during it, have a good time and let your natural attitude just gleam! This will show as those happy poses when snapping it!

Other Options Besides Dress Photo Shoot

There are alternatives out there, should perhaps a flying dress vibe be less your vibe, actually. Here’s my ideas for the things one can see on vacation. Have picture sessions there where tourists meander around, very naturally while just acting normal around where they stay in Greece!

Make sessions showing your honeymoon happening on a background with just white painted home bases over Greece. Take snaps of things such as when those people get engaged etcetera!

Or it might work using various themes of shooting such as in those olden eras there when persons acted old Greece people or those gods themselves, etcetera, too. These things give a thing all types in there that would interest lots different person styles! It also could be something fun like photos that get taken on local people acting relaxed where there’s no tourist types over on any isles over!
