Day 1: Getting to Know Kigali

Right then, day one’s all about landing in Kigali and seeing what the city offers, you know. Kigali’s, that is, cleaned up heaps, and arguably it’s really easy to walk about too. First thing that strikes people is, seemingly, how tidy and calm the streets look. It’s rather different compared to a lot of other African capitals, it is. Then there are these rolling hills, seemingly everywhere, so it gives the city some kind of unique shape, just a little more special you might say.

Must-See Kigali Spots

Arguably you have to hit up the Kigali Genocide Memorial, arguably a really moving but critical experience. It seemingly gives context to what this whole area has lived through and in a way, what it has built into. As a matter of fact, it is, an extremely important, even somber point during that tour, you see. Anyway then, you, could visit Kimironko Market that gives you a really good view of what local living really means; it is just teaming with some pretty bright fabrics, all these local produces and all kinds of things that you might just find interesting too. A little later you could walk by some places which, very show what local handcraft work and local talent there seems to be too. At the end of that, it’s very, time for just somewhere, you might find, with good food for grabbing dinner and catching sleep just there.

Day 2: Heading Over to Volcanoes National Park

Anyway, get ready, cause the early starts on day two mean, that you, would get going towards Volcanoes National Park! I mean, basically the trip there gives views too – rolling hills and every so often there seem to be lots and lots of small local towns too. We want to get you over to Kinigi as quick as we can. That, after all, is where, arguably, much of your hiking starts for heading off into them areas where all the gorillas hang out.

Getting Prepared for Gorilla Trekking

Before you, actually hit the jungle path, it might be quite helpful, you know, to have park rangers talk a little bit about all the gorilla trekking rules too. And after that there’s just this introduction to which gorilla families that people are going after for that day! As a matter of fact the hikes vary greatly in how tough those ones happen to be; the trails change just a lot depending really where different families, you, were at any, literally given point during the time too. At some point the hike goes from tough going to, in fact being pretty challenging, but then again, finally seeing them guys – seemingly all up there casually munching some plants – makes any slog just basically fade far off backwards too. An hour or so there among those awesome creatures? Arguably worth the mud baths you needed for getting there too. So too there’s the whole drop off to your accommodation and thinking over stuff after such kind of day.

Day 3: Doing Even More In Volcanoes National Park or Heading Off Back

Right then, day number three comes bearing choices. Usually folk decide to do a bit more in Volcanoes National Park; if not though, then too it’s arguably straight back heading off into Kigali for doing catch ups alongside flight grabs or any following travelling type plans. Anyway some pretty interesting, pretty other trip stuff seemingly going off round Volcanoes though should that actually hold sway!

Dian Fossey Tomb

Optional Activities and Departure

So too you might be thinking over either the Dian Fossey Tomb visit or maybe just grabbing some, frankly gold looking stuff whilst enjoying any golden monkey trip visits there too. Seemingly lots, really lots find following Fossey, still; that, of some legend there where Mountain Gorillas matter! – has basically loads of gravity surrounding all walks. Alternatively the Goldies? Actually a set too of crazy beautiful simians! A bit? just a little? more skittish as a rule too compared very, too Gorilla cousins as stuff seem to go.
