Actually, the process of reserving a spot happened with no problems at all. So, the class had many options to chose from, both in terms of date and time. Anyway, the tour operator’s webpage gave me all the info that I needed. I even found reviews and photos, so there were no issues to be found, right? Once the time came, I clicked that reserve button. The confirmation email actually got to my email fast, which had all the crucial info to know. Easy, right?

Meeting Point and Atmosphere: Getting Ready to Cook

Cooking class atmosphere

Arriving at the meeting point, I spotted this quaint spot right near the center of the city, you know? The studio did have a welcoming atmosphere with workstations that looked pretty organized. Very importantly, the class size appeared like just right for getting personal attention from our chef, a local guy that’s rather energetic with a big smile.

Pizza Time: Dough, Toppings, and Ovens

Now, getting our hands dirty! The chef started by revealing how the dough comes together, sharing tips that seemed simple, yet made total difference. After all, we stretched and kneaded our individual dough. Also, we could chose a huge spread of fresh toppings to design our pies, you know? Very soon our pizzas ended up in a wood-fired oven. Ah! The joy of taking that first slice!

Gelato Magic: From Ingredients to Deliciousness

Following pizza, the sweet moment! The chef explained the science to making gelato, using ingredients from local sources. Very soon we had our go at mixing our gelato base, actually. You know, the machine handled the hard churning work. Taste testing? An activity where many participated, that’s for sure! This homemade gelato might’ve been my favorite moment.
