After we had finished stretching the dough, we each scooped sauce, carefully, very carefully, distributing the perfect amount so there wasn’t any pizza soup. Last, we topped our pies off with different combinations of pepperoni, basil, and mushrooms. Then, seeing how long it would take the cook the pizzas. I love how they showed the kids to prepare the food! They really got excited!
As the pizzas were being made, the chef transitioned to the art of tiramisu making. This portion was not quite as difficult but just as pleasurable. Mixing mascarpone cheese, espresso, eggs, and cocoa powder to create the classic rich cream that made tiramisu, wow! Just dipping the ladyfinger biscuits lightly to then arrange them in layers in the pans gave you the chance to taste each element as the treat took form. That aroma of coffee was quite pleasing. After, the chef sprinkled the cocoa powder all over, giving the final layer before refrigerating it. Even more enticing!
Finally, after what appeared to be an eternity, the pizzas came out! We moved them to our dining area. They each looked great! Cheesy, fragrant, and slightly crispy, what more could you ask for. Honestly, it may just have been me and the pleasure from doing things by myself, but they really did seem like they outshone all restaurant-bought pies I have tasted. And after we finished the last piece, it was on to trying the tiramisu. So the chilly, decadent sweetness went down wonderfully with my pizza coma.
