Alright, have you ever felt that urge to, like, properly get away from it all? The Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland could just be what you’re seeking. I mean, really! Geothermal Wonders: Gunnuhver Hot Springs

If, you have to see raw geothermal power, look towards Gunnuhver Hot Springs! That name springs (ahem) from a female ghost, as I was saying, supposed to be properly haunting the area, it kind of gives an additional edge to the location! Anyway, like, enormous steam clouds roar out of the earth, providing an incredibly striking landscape. I mean, incredibly!

More or less, the spot does offer various boardwalks that mean you can look at this bubbling, steamy spectacle in something of a secure fashion. But, look here, safety first: do stick to these defined pathways, as the ground right around the springs may be dangerously unstable.
