Peruvian Ceviche Preparation

We jump into the preparation, the instructor that we had clearly knew their stuff, and they guided us through each and every step of every recipe. The class included four dishes, like ceviche, lomo saltado, papa rellena, and rocoto relleno. Making the ceviche from scratch was something that stood out so much, too it’s almost something else, really; from learning how to properly slice the fish to understanding the importance of that citrus marinade, too it’s almost mind blowing, you know? What makes it extra engaging is that hands-on aspect; you can actually get stuck in and touch, feel, and also taste the ingredients as you move along, too it’s almost as if there is nothing like it.

Deconstructing Ceviche: Freshness is Paramount

Fresh Ceviche

Alright, when you talk about ceviche, what should stick out is just how key freshness of the fish truly is, like your whole dish basically depends on it, right? What makes a world of difference in making it is getting a real insight on how to balance acidity, spiciness, and then flavor in a way that makes your taste buds dance like never before. What I found actually super interesting, so to speak, too it’s almost as if it blew my mind, anyway, was just learning why each ingredient is just that integral to what makes the perfect ceviche.
