Setting Sail for Kizimkazi: Dolphin Spotting

First things first, we head very early in the morning towards Kizimkazi, that small fishing village which is known for that dolphin spotting stuff, very cool, eh? Thing is, waking up super early could be a bit of a pain, is that understandable? You want to be on the water super early since that’s kinda the dolphins’ playtime hour, so like that you are not competing with forty thousand boats, right? The boat trip out to find the dolphins? Can be quite fun. Though, it can also depend a bit on what the sea’s like, almost? So, sometimes it’s very smooth sailing and relaxing, at other times? Well, you might get splashed about a little. Is that worth it at the end of the day though? Yes! Those playful dolphins swimming all around the boat? Almost like they put on their own little show just for us, is that cute or what?

Jozani Forest: Stepping into a Green Sanctuary

So, from that wide-open ocean, you go on over towards that snug coziness which is Jozani Forest. It’s a bit like that gear change from that action flick toward a nature documentary, very different yeah? Jozani is that place which is known for those red colobus monkeys. The special thing, is that they aren’t scared of anyone. So you can observe them at length going about their little monkey lives. very curious. that is their forest and you are but a guest there, that much is clear! Also? Those trees there? Are super huge! And your tour guide usually has a number of stories, kinda cool facts and that which bring that forest more to life. I liked the medicinal plants bit a lot too myself! so interesting. Also? There is also this mangrove swamp thingy where you have the possibility to walk that raised wooden boardwalk. that is all calm and so different to the interior forest, you might want to take some pics!

Kuza Cave: Refreshing dip in Zanzibar’s Heart

Next up that day is Kuza Cave, which offers, so to speak, a total experience in comparison to others! This place, Kuza Cave, it is not strictly about the cave, in case you are not the spelunking kinda type, so fear not!. The cave thing is one little slice of what this place actually gives. Rather? It is about that cultural experience with singing and the drumming thing that happens there at times. Like your interaction alongside the local peoples from that little local community. Also? The cave part? Pretty very cool! You head down some stone steps to reach this pond inside that cave that’s just super clear. A welcome chance to, maybe, chill out a little after all those travels. It feels super nice to take some photos and some swims into that water, by the way.

Paje Beach: Wind, Waves and a chilled Vibe

At the very end of it all there, to cool the entire engine down? That final pit stop that’s kinda ideal and a little place of zen too it’s almost? Paje Beach. It stands quite at odds to all of the more super action-packed adventures which filled your day there. Which stands there with that white-sand paradise type situation you would usually wanna think of in places like that place there and it looks so very appealing at most moments you see that area of the landscape. After what your filled itinerary brought with all those various locations of high excitement across that great old Zanzibar? You’ll no doubt relish that spot there at Paje’s coastline. So what you are after? Well most like it can consist, or in fact be simply constituted within itself from various sun-kissed relaxing, that walking calmly, at the shore with that feeling of a cool little breeze going though your hair strands too right! And a spot to remember and sit on in calm at with the sound coming off the great shore tides, that sounds like total chill vibes, eh!?
