Puerto Vallarta! it’s such a hotspot for tourists wanting some sun, sea, and maybe a little something extra, right? very recently I had a chance, you see, to take one of those cultural tours they keep offering, and this one hit up San Pancho and Sayulita. These tacos were some of the best, really. I want to make sure I stress this, that I have had in Mexico. Seriously. I almost think that the simplicity is something that worked!

As a matter of fact, I only heard about it from another tourist on the tour, you see! Turns out they do so much for the local kids with classes and projects, just a little bit, actually! Sayulita: Surf, Shops, and a whole bunch of People

After San Pancho! very next we drove over to Sayulita, and immediately that change was major, seriously! It is a lot more bustling here with loads more tourists and everything is kind of happening at once, as a matter of fact! Right off the bat! so you are bombarded with surf shops and stands selling colorful everything!

If you have even thought, just for a second, about surfing, well you came to the correct spot! You will find like a million surf schools offering lessons, you will! so the beach itself is just full of people giving it a try! Or people are just chilling and working on their tans! Or people are there doing some kind of combo of both!

I decided to skip the surfing! and just did a bit of wandering to be totally honest with you, through the streets. The main square in Sayulita tends to have performers, vendors, and basically all kinds of action that occurs! I snagged some churros from a street vendor. Then I spent forever, you see, looking for the kind of perfect souvenir. To be sure I haggled a tiny bit, as one does.

Dinner at Sayulita happened to be at a rooftop restaurant, as a matter of fact, and let me say I felt extra fancy. Getting a margarita whilst seeing the sunset? Yes, please! Food was also good, alright! even though the view totally stole the show!

The Tour Itself: What you Should think about

This is about the tour! You might care! basically I booked through one of those stands in the Puerto Vallarta Marina. Now if I had to make that selection again. I would likely book beforehand, and potentially look into small-group tours because then one knows they are getting personal attention. Now those super big bus tours that exist too? Our tour guide really seemed okay and fluent in a couple of languages. He would be offering snippets on local history as we drove, just to set some stage and what’s actually happened! Consider how much free time there would be in each place when one looks for these trips. On our adventure it was likely like two hours in San Pancho and three in Sayulita. Actually for San Pancho? That felt solid. But Sayulita. Just needed more. It could probably take all day if a person could. So too if that situation could occur.
