You go through several caves during the Trang An boat bit, each with its own legend, possibly a neat story if your guide is enthusiastic, but honestly they’re all just called awesome by, I’m assuming, 90% of all tourists on site that day. Just make sure to, too, duck or, like, you WILL whack your head. Yet the scenery around? Picture postcard stuff! Seriously some amazing landscape views. It’s that which might sell you the tour, as opposed to the capital stuff.

Potential Downsides of the Boat Trip

You do share a boat with other folks, apparently, which can either be grand or… well, not. Maybe it will make a neat networking event where you all share travel stories or something like that. Climbing to the Top – Is It Worth It?

Let’s just say it now. The climb isn’t for anyone who thinks climbing 5 floors is too much cardio to be in a functional relationship. That being said, if you take it slow, then almost anyone can do it. Just really pack the water! The views up there though? Seriously, very well worth every little step, almost as a matter of fact. You’ll get views of a lifetime (well, one afternoon, that’s right) that really get one back into a nice view on life, or at least a nice view of northern Vietnam’s neatest vistas. Yep, those stairs? Steep, too, is that a concern. In fact, maybe that should be the headline. Watch your step. Very, seriously easy to trip, plus when it rains, all you should probably just be thinking is how not to go tumbling. Still, go slow, too it’s almost that everyone gets up and down okay!
