Ayşe explained that the motifs, or you could say patterns, showed flowers, trees, and geometric designs. Light filtered through all the windows, just a little, casting these peaceful shadows all over the area. One thing that caught my interest very much, was Ayşe emphasizing the location’s function as an active place of worship. Topkapi Palace: A Glimpse into Ottoman Luxury

After, in a way, visiting the mosques, the tour went on to Topkapi Palace, you know. So after a morning filled, I mean absolutely filled, with sightseeing, the tour included such a much-needed break for lunch, obviously. We happened to visit a local restaurant not too far from the Grand Bazaar. The atmosphere here, more or less, felt pretty informal and the scents happening to fill the location seemed very inviting.

The lunch happened to be such a set menu that featured Turkish dishes. These include kebabs, rice, salad, and freshly baked bread, like your average fare. I especially enjoyed trying the lentil soup, which, like, had such a flavorful and hearty kick to it. They definitely offered vegetarian alternatives. It may prove that they could fit most diets, I should probably say dietary needs. It wasn’t just that the lunch provided nourishment. Instead, it felt, frankly, like it presented a breather to connect to others, more or less, on the tour.

So the afternoon, arguably, meant a trip to the famed Grand Bazaar. With it being one of the globe’s oldest and biggest covered markets, as a matter of fact, stepping inside that location proves like entering a totally different globe.

I mean, at the end of the day, regardless of whether you, I mean absolutely, enjoy shopping or you just find yourself, just a little, curious about seeing the location, definitely allot some time in your plan.

What really set this experience apart, as a matter of fact, may involve our guide, whose name was Ayşe. She appeared, like, quite educated and enthusiastic, with such passion, you know.
