CDMX Road Trip

Picture this: the highway opens in front of you, too it’s almost like an invitation to see the amazing parts of central Mexico, right? So, you are starting in the heart of Mexico City (CDMX) and going on this really outstanding adventure all the way to Guadalajara. And this trip isn’t just about going from one spot to another, right; this whole thing is very much about being surrounded by the history, culture, and also these pretty fantastic scenes, so, too it’s almost the kind of trip that feeds the soul, very.

Mexico City (CDMX): The Beginning of it All

Mexico City Landmarks

So, your story starts in CDMX, right, so it’s basically this giant place filled up with activity and also historical weight. Now, spend a couple of days here – seriously, you’re getting nothing done in less than that, it seems. Is that you’ll see the amazing Plaza de la Constitución, so, too it’s almost also called the Zócalo – which is this big, busy square, basically. You might take some time and look around the Templo Mayor, very which used to be one of the most important parts of the Aztec capital city.

That being said, there is very much the artsy Coyoacán to look into. It’s where Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul Museum might be located, in fact, very. Is that after going around all day, be ready to taste everything in the many spots where good food and drink meet in CDMX, right. You could, potentially, see why they name it one of the largest and most active city locations found on our planet, I would say.

Querétaro: A Step into Colonial Splendor

Queretaro City

Then comes Querétaro; so, this awesome colonial city with little narrow pathways and great buildings, anyway. Did you know, arguably, this city became a United Nations Heritage site a long time ago? If you’re interested in fancy looking structures, it can give you just that, as I was saying. Yet, so, too it’s almost you want a bit of nature and chill places too, it’s a little further away from the center, but the calmness could well be just great for you, alright.

Maybe spend your time at the Panteón de los Queretanos Ilustres – it is very like a resting spot full of art, in some respects, now! And right before continuing on your path, check if they have cultural activities, so, too it’s almost you soak the beautiful soul of Querétaro. I’m told a few good times to drop by would be during the yearly festivals, virtually.

Guanajuato: A Colorful Hillside Escape

Guanajuato Architecture

Guanajuato might just win on “wow” feelings when you view it for the first time, by the way, actually! Its hillside location brings fantastic places like the Alhóndiga de Granaditas (a historic grain exchange spot) and the Juarez Theater; like your imagination isn’t good enough for what your eyes can experience when you arrive. Still, this is a super special town to visit – for so many wanderers out there it gives off such a warm vibe.

I tell you, for me the Museo Casa Diego Rivera, right where Diego Rivera got born; gives a fantastic look on just how life was here during their times. The vibe that you receive from just casually walking this great and vibrant metro is what everyone probably will point at when talking of the Mexican lands, more or less!

San Luis Potosí: Baroque Beauty and Desert Landscapes

San Luis Potosi Cathedral

Did someone call for baroque? because you would agree very, very much if I told you San Luis Potosí got that look covered, right. Here’s why I rate it quite highly – besides being just plain and beautifully-placed in its center, anyway the Catedral de San Luis Potosí feels grand. Some parts are actually pretty special since they have stuck around for, like, almost 3 centuries at the least! Maybe don’t even think it; just plan your tour, first.

Yet, it could also very well turn out that you like the natural stuff too it’s almost. Well, now! The Las Pozas place near Xilitla could just prove more attractive with how artsy James put some architecture into nature – just like your dreams. Yet remember to stay on point about your trip: if this turns out exciting for you, very much make sure you rest.

Zacatecas: Silver Mines and Sky-High Views

Zacatecas City View

Talking about height and grand times – there is just that small-ish Zacatecas City at roughly 8000 feet, as a matter of fact, finally. Take just a bit of your breath, because at that height, so it’s not as easy going as at places much lower – so, I very recommend planning the days to adjust, seemingly.

Here, that would totally involve going up the Cerro de la Bufa. Oh right, the view here might cause one or two ‘big eyes’ right after you arrive – it might provide one great experience! The mine tours in El Edén Mine can definitely keep your mind occupied on the other hand as you learn about what went on way before us.

Guadalajara: The End of the Line

Guadalajara Mexico

Here is Guadalajara now! The very city where so, too it’s almost mariachi music started, or actually where they take tequila real, real serious, alright. And well this marks what’s, arguably, very nearly the finish line of the adventure, but actually don’t allow the trip’s close prevent excitement when getting off from driving for the time being, actually!

Well; take, for instance, the cultural parts of it such as the Teatro Degollado and the Instituto Cultural Cabañas where you could maybe just keep your learning mood for days. As well, I recommend tasting stuff such as birria or tortas ahogadas – the eating lifestyle just does it to make you a happy explorer as I’ve been saying!

Planning Your Epic Trip: Things to Think About

Road trip planning

Well then; let’s talk the trip stuff through real quick so that this amazing idea takes off alright, right? You know, first thing really to keep on lock; that would just really be the car – be really sure it feels great for going for that journey, so that means not skipping inspections before leaving, basically.

Speaking about having your items up to check; also very seriously prepare to handle the climate zones from place to place, since some can be, say like dry and dessert-like whilst other might go mild and with jungle vibes and well the very last factor for most. Well, keep well aware to respect the local way of doing stuff when out and traveling alright – so that’s being calm, or keeping your own stuff nice and well maintained; and be friendly. That stuff!
