Thinking about giving the Estany D’en Mas coastal hike, abseil, and sea cave adventure a try? I mean, you’re in for a quite unusual experience! Seriously, it offers a unique blend of physical challenge and stunning views, something that you don’t see every day. My trip definitely had its ups and downs, but overall, that’s an outing I’d recommend to anyone that loves the outdoors, just so you know. I’m going to get you ready with what you want to know before you go, alright?
What to anticipate during the Coastal Hike
The coastal hike to reach the abseiling spot actually offers breathtaking scenery, pretty much guaranteeing your camera is coming out frequently. The trail is not exactly a walk in the park; rather it includes uneven terrain and some rocky patches, actually meaning a reasonable degree of fitness helps a whole lot. With the sea down below, and that’s all you really can see, too. I found that it actually felt quite liberating descending the rock face, basically.
The length of the abseil will give you more than an adrenaline rush; in a way, it gives you one quite unforgettable view, in particular if you’re fond of this sort of outdoor activity. Trust me, getting past any fears that you might have really will be totally worth it!
Exploring the Sea Cave

I believe I would suggest preparing your trip carefully if you don’t want to waste time with buying gear later. Some things, I mean like sturdy hiking shoes, are really quite essential for the coastal hike. Then, just add your swimwear that you’ll want for going into the sea cave, which I imagine will already be on your list anyway!
