Tel Aviv? Well, after all that history in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv can almost feel a little, I don’t know, abrupt, anyway, in how modern it all is. So, Tel Aviv’s all about beaches, it’s all about a lifestyle that’s super hip, plus it has cool restaurants, basically. Usually, the tour kind of swings you through the main areas, anyway, like maybe Rothschild Boulevard, anyway, or the Carmel Market, for instance. Basically, the problem, arguably, is it often feels rushed. Is that right? As a matter of fact, I reckon it would be nice to actually have some extra time just to chill by the sea or just to wander around those little markets, to be perfectly honest.

Alright then, Petra. To be honest, this place? That’s the absolute highlight for loads of people. The Siq is super impressive. It really is! When you walk that, that is a ‘pinch me’ moment, certainly. Then you walk on up and that Treasury pops out! Yeah, I mean, that’s gorgeous. Still, remember it will be full. It’s going to be packed. A lot of tour groups go through at the same time. That’s how it is. Still, this visit is structured, alright, so you take in the iconic sights in the area. This tour isn’t really getting you, like, super off-the-beaten-path here, anyway, and maybe people would hope that. A lot of this depends, to be clear, on if you love, you know, getting lots of snaps of spots to make everyone back home jealous. If you do, this’ll totally work. Okay?

So, Wadi Rum. Then, you swap all that stone for a heap of sand! I found that this was a crazy welcome change after such busy cities! Typically, so, you bounce across Wadi Rum on a jeep tour, really. And usually they show you a range of places that are connected with Bedouin culture, so that is, as a matter of fact, very neat, in a way. And as I was saying, the sky? It is gigantic! The stars there? Well, anyway, they are something different. Bear in mind that “roughing it” might happen. That’s what it is! This is no luxury camping expedition, so you may well get, to be honest, a fairly basic set-up. That’s just how it often is! However, honestly, the whole atmosphere makes it worth it, might be.
