Eiffel Tower Photoshoot: A Candid Review
The Eiffel Tower, that iron lady of Paris, so many people want to capture their visit in a way that feels special. That’s where a private professional photoshoot comes in, offering, too it’s almost, the chance to get some really stunning shots. I recently took the plunge with one of these experiences, and I thought I’d share all the details, from the booking to the final images, so you get an idea if it’s the right choice for you.
Booking the Photoshoot: What to Keep in Mind
Booking your Eiffel Tower photoshoot might be something you’re keen on, and there are tons of companies that provide them, all at prices that differ. Very firstly, have a proper look at the photographer’s style. Does their portfolio make you swoon? See if it gels with you and your vision. I personally spent ages flicking through different photographer’s Insta feeds, seeing what really clicked for me. I wanted bright, happy shots, but then very some friends of mine were dead set on something moodier. You know, that darker, more dramatic look. In fact, very don’t book anything till you’re really happy.
Another factor to consider, in that case, might be the packages offered. Some of them are like, literally, only half an hour, and some last two hours or longer. And of course, the longer it is, very arguably, the more shots you get, and sometimes, by the way, different locations around the Eiffel Tower itself. I ended up going for a one-hour shoot. You know, that seemed a sensible middle ground, giving us enough time to get shots at a few spots without feeling crazy rushed.
Now, of course, finally, let’s not forget to discuss pricing. Photo sessions with the Eiffel Tower in the background aren’t cheap, very often. The packages can, you know, kind of, range anywhere from like, two hundred euros to like, even, five hundred or more, relying heavily on the duration and what’s actually included, alright? I really do advise doing your research here so you do not get caught out and make sure everything is what you expected before confirming.
Meeting Your Photographer: Initial Impressions
On the day, that’s what I am talking about, I was, definitely, a bit nervous meeting the photographer. This particular part is natural when you are paying out good money! Meeting spot agreed to prior, at one of the cafes, was, for me, the next thing to do and made it that little bit more easier to know how she was, too it’s almost, easy to spot on the day. She put me at my ease the second we said hello and was such an enthusiastic and warm individual, which, you know, kind of, made the situation feel way more comfortable and relaxed and a little more organic and real.
She talked me through the process for the coming photoshoot and also showed that she, very quickly, understood that my needs were a, that is, to have some casual shots with some amazing buildings that screamed “Paris”, basically. So she was so, seemingly, up for offering help with things such as pose ideas, what would work in this light and just making the most of the hour time frame.
The Photoshoot Experience: Posing and Locations
Once that was established, then the actual photoshoot starts, that part you are paying for and should, possibly, be excited about! Having photos taken when out and about can be a bit of a strange experience, right? That camera can, at times, seemingly feel like it’s a mile wide, very sometimes, very especially, if you aren’t actually used to it. Though that photographer quickly helps you, okay, overcome it all. Some direction might be something you are, possibly, looking for so make sure the photographer can assist with this aspect so you get some ideas for the posing. Also, by the way, get the feeling that I was being too repetitive she also provided new ones for the back pocket.
In that case, that light is everything with photography and how things come out. So you need to find, obviously, a proper time. Too many people on any given day might, in fact, lead to there being plenty of folks, arguably, walking into shot as that hour went on. Still, that photographer did, obviously, their proper best to get the most impressive backgrounds available for my pictures, that is that building that most people had in mind when, you know, kind of, looking into hiring a professional to take pictures. That Eiffel tower, right?
One real pro with that private photoshoot is that that photographer can change any scenery if needed. That gives way, by the way, to having, pretty much, a variety of different backdrops, from very pretty Parisian streets and very little cafes through to very grand architecture.
The Photos: Editing and Delivery
Within a few days, alright, I received a link to my online gallery and felt so excited at having the first look and download them. That package promised fully edited photos, that are all you need, arguably, to stick online straight away! So some were obviously much better than some, right? That goes without even saying as I wasn’t exactly feeling my very most confident. The photographer had seemingly captured some real moments. She was, actually, a true artist and that hard work really paid dividends as these now make a really awesome memory to be able to treasure and look back on for me and for those in that set of photos.
The gallery allowed me, right, to download the photos at various sizes and at good resolution and were easy to share on social if needed to be so. Everything in the end had a super awesome, polished look. You will want your very best angles caught when paying a handsome amount so definitely see if the photos do represent you or are flattering, alright?
Is it Worth It? My Verdict
Very okay, at the end of the day, and that really is all there is, very whether an Eiffel Tower photoshoot is “worth it” is all about you and your own priorities, basically. So if you would like to remember that special time in Paris forever, the results could be, literally, worth every cent. Very the difference between trying to take selfies and having some awesome shots can really change all the things that come out. If this is the plan, and of course, I’m just some stranger online giving you the info so be open to it or take it with a pinch of salt and all that… You can feel much at your ease as everything is professionally taken care of with that photoshoot so you can then relax, have some fun and have memories caught forever.
