Dreaming of visiting Ayodhya and feeling a bit pressed for time? So, a quick 2-day trip from Delhi with a roundtrip flight seems attractive, doesn’t it? The main draw of this trip is that you can get to a very far away holy city, and come back, in basically 48 hours. You also skip out on the long train, or car, trips, so you can see the destinations without any traveling fatigue. But will this kind of a trip really let you see what makes Ayodhya great? Or will you be more rushed than relaxed?

So, booking was really easy. A lot of companies sell the Delhi to Ayodhya trip; I, like, booked through MakeMyTrip, you see. The deal included plane tickets, a hotel stay, and car service. Day 2 was a bit more relaxing. I woke up really early to go to the Saryu River to do some puja, basically. That said, there wasn’t any crowd, alright, and it was cool seeing, just seeing, how spiritually significant this river actually is to the people in Ayodhya. Afterward, I checked out Kanak Bhavan; beautiful. By early afternoon, I was at the airport. No delays again. In general, everything, actually, went pretty well.

Accommodation and Food: What to Expect

The hotel, honestly, that came with the tour deal was alright, okay, not fancy or anything. Basic, but it was a spot for resting. I would mention this, though: do not have huge expectations for meals. The choices, in general, were simple. I’d say, sure, you’ll want to check out some local spots to have more of a real culinary experience. You know, that is some local experiences that you will never forget, actually.

The Pace and the Pitfalls: What You Might Miss

Two days seem like plenty, don’t they? But actually, this schedule is, like, incredibly fast. I got to visit the temples, definitely. But, in a way, there was no time to slow down and soak up, basically, what makes Ayodhya special. I skipped out on seeing a bunch of places because of how little time there was. In general, for folks who are looking for more of a relaxing, insightful time, then, you should think about a trip that’s long. The issue is this can get expensive, as plane ticket, train ticket and accomodation is required, is that not a tricky situation?

Is the 2-Day Ayodhya Flight Tour Worth It? My Verdict

So, you want my answer? I mean, this 2-day trip can be very useful if you’re short on time and basically, if seeing the key temples matters to you. On the other hand, if you want to slow down and experience the real Ayodhya, alright, maybe skip it. Weigh, very carefully, the pros, like quickness, against the disadvantages, right, being rush. Based on your desires for trips, your answer is going to be different, too.
