That part, you know, that went quite smoothly, but, really, brace yourself for the security checks – airports, you know, is how that felt in a way. Sunrise Spectacle: Did it Deliver?

So, as I stepped, still, through that main gateway and caught that first glimpse of the Taj bathed in gold, honestly, well, it’s a sight, is it not, too? The experience, right, is impacted, like so many things, by crowds even at that hour, yet I could find, at the very least, spots to soak it all in and grab photos without a million people in them, basically. But still, honestly, is the sunrise view as amazing as those Instagram pictures suggest? Kinda. And I liked the food tasting aspect very much as well; like so many experiences, the smells are what, still, I most recall from the markets I experienced here in India. You know what, though? The narrow streets aren’t for claustrophobes. Add heat, very little personal space, and quite aggressive vendors. I was pretty exhausted, so it’s almost as if Old Delhi that day pushed me to my limit in some tiny way.

What Could be Better? A Few Considerations

Right, so, here’s where things, in fact, get, you know, a little critical, anyway. First off: That tour feels long, is that not the truth? You’re traveling to Agra early in the day, that whole experience with Taj, followed by, you know, that trip to Delhi for the walking tour, can, more or less, make for an incredibly tiring day, I mean. Secondly, is it not a truth, that pacing? With early starts and full itineraries, it does leave minimal down time.
