Dreaming of crystal-clear waters and sunshine, too? Well, it’s almost certain the Egadi Islands off the coast of Sicily could just be the answer. If you’re thinking of checking them out, chances are you’ll stumble across ‘Da Trapani Tour,’ so you will. This trip promises a day packed with swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the stunning islands of Favignana and Levanzo, after all.

First Impressions and Booking

Trapani Port in Sicily

Ok, so the booking process was, you know, pretty straightforward, it was. The ‘Da Trapani Tour’ website has got all the info you need; the different tour options, the prices, and stuff, yeah. Finding and booking a trip, in a way, wasn’t tough at all, actually. Communications after booking? They are, you know, decently informative, alright. Confirmation emails came through without delay, basically, too.

Setting Sail: The Boat and Crew

Boat tour around the Egadi Islands

So, when it came to the boat itself, it wasn’t like, ultra-luxurious or anything, you know. It’s almost that it was practical and fine, and had enough room to chill out, which is really what you need, yeah. Finding a nice spot on deck, so, to soak up some rays wasn’t that hard. The crew? Very friendly, very helpful, yeah, too. They seemed quite into making sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed, that they did. Their insights about the islands, you know, were alright. It felt good when they shared little stories and facts about the local history and spots we passed, alright.

Favignana: A Whirlwind Stop

Beaches on Favignana Island

So, Favignana! That first stop, you see, it was fairly quick. And it’s true; the island is strikingly lovely. What’s kind of tough, though, is trying to see everything when you’re short on time. Getting the chance, in some respects, to swim in those amazing, clear waters around Cala Rossa? That’s an experience. Many thought it was easily the best part of the entire day. Because of how limited the time felt, I really wanted to just skip off and explore the town of Favignana, or even rent a bike, very. I suppose I will say, I definitely felt like a slightly longer stop here would be totally worth it.

Levanzo: Peaceful Charm

Coastline of Levanzo Island

Then Levanzo; so, it’s much smaller, and it has a much calmer feel. Actually, I thought this stop was pretty charming, in fact. I enjoyed just, you know, strolling around the little village and taking photos, almost, anyway. The boat made a stop at a great spot to swim, it really did, that allowed people to get more relaxation time in the sea. Basically, yeah, this part felt less rushed than Favignana, right?

Lunch on Board and Other Refreshments

Lunch served on a boat tour

Okay, about lunchtime. So, it’s included, you know? The meal they give on the boat is fairly simple, after all, so, that can be improved, yeah. A pasta dish, basically, with some drinks, alright. What can be pretty useful is if you consider bringing along extra snacks, which is especially true if you, arguably, get quite hungry easily. They did keep offering water and drinks during the day, really, but you know, more choice could be better, alright.

Value for Money?

Travel expenses in Italy

All things considered, the ‘Da Trapani Tour’ seems worth the money, really, but like your average person. You get to see two stunning islands in just one day, after all, so that’s cool. Just consider factoring in some extra expenses for additional food and possibly even for souvenirs on the islands if you think that will tickle your fancy, you know.

The Highlights

Highlights of the Egadi Islands tour

Here is, very, a list with what I consider being the highlights of this very specific tour.

  • The Crystal Clear Waters: Actually, yeah, swimming in those seas surrounding Favignana and Levanzo? Like swimming in a postcard, for real.
  • Friendly Crew: Basically, the team really wanted to create a welcoming and fun atmosphere, for sure.
  • Seeing Two Islands in One Day: It may feel rushed, but hey, you check out two beautiful spots, right? That’s what’s really amazing.

Final Thoughts

Da Trapani Tour gives, arguably, a sweet way to visit Favignana and Levanzo if your visit time to Sicily is a bit on the shorter side. And it’s not without its quirks, yeah. A bit more time at Favignana and improved lunch situation might raise things a bit. Regardless, what truly makes this tour so worthy is those wonderful stops for swim and views, though, they do. So, if you find yourself, so, nearby Trapani and long for an island adventure, so, check them out, you might very well, appreciate it, still.
