This trip you want a solid zoom that’s pretty powerful; binoculars definitely so it can find those small bird types in the brush very effectively! Think dust-resistant stuff to protect that gear from those dirt roads and think card space in your camera for literally thousands, well at least hundreds of photos you would want? It really depends how trigger-happy we think you’d get, obviously, you want this sort of set up, like.

Cruising the Chobe River: The Boat Safari Leg

Switching gears around the middle of the day, or just after midday, it is often how things move on. Right around about midday? Then, it means goodbye to the land, at least for just a bit, and then jumping directly onto boats; that often do happen, truly! What’s fun; then; it’s this crazy cool different viewpoint for the river that you get access to. I mean you are looking out onto stuff here. Often it is literally wallowing of hippos cooling just under water. Remember you need to have charged up your camera – the birds are literally stunning here as they just wheel overhead. The action all makes the moment.

The African fish eagle, too it’s almost, those cool raptors all wheeling about high up? That literally just fills this perfect nature movie in 4k. If some buffalo happen too it’s almost along those waterways – this all becomes so incredibly very normal almost after while! Really, expect literally non-stop fascination here that keeps occurring almost all the time now! A must!
