Blue Lagoon Boat Tour From Trogir: A Real Review With Lunch & Drinks

So, you’re thinking about hopping on that boat to the Blue Lagoon from Trogir, complete with lunch and drinks, huh? Well, that’s understandable; the pictures look awesome, right? But that’s only part of it, so let’s see if this trip is truly for you.

Setting Sail: First Impressions of the Trogir Boat Trip

Trogir Harbor

That beginning bit, that’s something, too, you see – picture yourself by the harbor in Trogir. The buzz of excitement is very hard to miss as various boat tour operators call out to people. You find your boat; hopefully, it’s easy to spot with a sign. Usually, it’s a fairly-sized vessel, often something like a bigger fishing boat converted for tours. Now, getting on, that part can be a tiny bit of a squeeze, as that is because boats can get fairly full, very quickly. But don’t worry, usually the crew are quite good with helping people. Finding a spot, right? Early birds do, truly, get the worm – or in this case, the best seats. You might be sitting up top for all of those views, or maybe on the lower deck, that might have some shade.

That departure is, of course, exciting. That historic Trogir waterfront slips away and you get that fresh sea breeze right away. You can take pictures of the Kamerlengo Fortress or maybe the Cathedral of St. Lawrence; they’re particularly fantastic from the water. That initial vibe of that whole trip? Excitement, expectation and just a dash of ‘hope I don’t get seasick,’ maybe? The boat gets moving. Now, we start moving onward!

The Cruise: Views, Vibes, and Other Passengers

Dalmatian Coastline Boat Tour

That boat trip itself, see, it is more than simply getting from A to B; it’s that big chunk of your day. It is mostly like just admiring that scenery as that boat glides, pretty much. The Dalmatian coastline has some great beauty. We’re talking, too, about dramatic cliffs, is that right?, little islands, and that water, too, it is as clear as you may think, I mean honestly. Take your camera, and then fill it with the things you see!

But so, too, the atmosphere counts a lot, pretty much, I think. These trips tend to attract families, you know, couples and groups of friends, too. You get chatter, laughs and maybe that bit of sing-along action if that crew’s in the mood, so it feels that way. And then there are, too, the sunbathers. Now they soak up those rays up on that deck. Still, it is almost really good fun observing people and, likely, chatting a little with total strangers.

That music, which is pretty good usually, blasting via loudspeakers helps with maintaining a party-type vibe and that party includes songs in Croatian. This part is just like experiencing a sliver of that Croatian summer atmosphere!

Blue Lagoon: Swimming and Sunbathing Paradise?

Blue Lagoon Croatia Swimming

The Blue Lagoon, then. It looks exactly like all those pictures, seriously! It’s basically some super-clear, turquoise water that seems, arguably, totally unreal. The boat kind of moors there and then it’s like you get that green light to jump in! This part is awesome, you know?

That water might be pretty cold, that might be what you think, but so you acclimate quite fast, just so you know. Bring your snorkel kit with you because, frankly, then you will see a few fish. Mostly tiny and silver ones darting about; don’t expect some big, exotic marine life here. I am sorry.

But you are like, after the swim, climbing back on that boat and getting that sun-drying thing going on! You are making memories.

Lunch on Board: What’s Cooking?

Dalmatian Lunch Boat

That lunch that comes, just so you know, with the price! Just remember! Do not miss it.

Typically it is arguably some grilled fish or chicken, sometimes something like a vegetarian pasta choice if you pre-ordered it, so be aware! With it? That cabbage salad, with bread! That’s kind of it. Look, you’re not at a fancy restaurant so be prepared for a simple, yet okay kind of lunch that definitely fills the hole left from being active. I am not a liar.

Those drinks included usually are that same style: something basic! You may have, likely, water and juice available and that boat might offer beer or wine for sale as extras if, potentially, you feel fancy.

Other Stops: Maslinica and Beyond

Maslinica Solta Island

Now then, that Blue Lagoon tour, typically, comes with just like a stop at a village named Maslinica which you will see on that island called Šolta. Now Šolta! A smaller one which seems more laid-back, honestly, unlike all those other big hitters in Croatia. This town might be something different, so be ready!

That is a little harbor front spot with those stone buildings; they all have orange roofs. A slow walk? Well, you may get your gelato!

Or so if your tour involves more stops? Well then expect very much like seeing something amazing when going into small bays or, arguably, checking out those other islands, which definitely will be like exploring. Be prepared!

The Return: Reflecting on Your Boat Day

Trogir Sunset

That sail back feels arguably totally reflective because it is time for reflection of your day! If that sun begins dipping low over that Adriatic sea? That’s picture time; for sure!

That boat arrives into the harbour then with some relaxed and tired people because they now have sun-kissed faces and definitely they will be filled up by those amazing new memories.

After some time offboard? Try finding that restaurant for a better fancy sunset dinner that may involve something delicious! That ends your Dalmatian trip of the day!
