Barcelona Costa Brava Boat Tour: A Review
Thinking of seeing the Costa Brava from a different angle? A boat tour could be just the ticket. I recently went on one that included lunch, and I’m here to share what that was like, so you know, to assist you in deciding if it’s a cool move for your Barcelona visit. What’s truly neat is, like, viewing the shoreline and chilling on the water sounds awesome. Let’s look at some parts to it.
Setting Sail: The Departure and Initial Impressions
Okay, that morning was exciting! We got to the harbor in Barcelona, which by the way, is totally busy. Checking in was easy enough. I had that feeling like, “Yes! Adventure!”. What’s nice too is that the boat, a catamaran-type deal, seemed really stable, and so everyone could have a seat on it. I think there’s this sense when it looks the part that you are gonna enjoy your tour. Now that I was there and on deck, it hit me: get ready for coastal stuff.
Cruising the Coastline: Breathtaking Views
Alright, so cruising along the Costa Brava? Stunning. Seriously, the cliffs were super tall, and then too it was almost like there are trees and plants somehow just gripping the rocks. So it’s quite green. You find a lot of these teeny little bays, you know, they’re tucked away. As a matter of fact, some of those coves were super clear to see through, which gave awesome views of everything down below the boat, really crystal type conditions! Then, you spot houses clinging to the sides—so unique looking, very eye-catching! What can be said of this trip is the Mediterranean looks very appealing as the boat moves, which for me just felt very right on that day. And by the way the sea and sky meet out in the distance, almost no break, a deep breath taking scenic point.
The Lunch Experience: What’s Cooking?
Lunch on the boat? Well, that was rather simple, but yummy enough. It wasn’t, very, top restaurant style, but, okay, you have fresh food being made on a boat. Usually it’s some seafood—you know, the paella type meals—cooked on board. So you get that nice, salty aroma of food when you’re, so, already getting that sea breeze. You know? The seafood really seemed properly fresh, too, that made it enjoyable. The food didn’t miss a step. Just imagine yourself tasting fish, the water sparkling beside you. The wine with the dinner. That really fits the tour! A heads up is that the choice is kind of set, it is, too, about them setting it all up beforehand in preparation of all who attend, it makes sense but maybe could turn off picky eaters. Regardless I had no bad opinions. Good views with great food. This food was actually included.
Dipping In: Swimming and Snorkeling Stops
Okay, those stops for swims were really great times, maybe the best parts. They stopped the boat somewhere with light-blue water that’s, like, very clean. Getting to leap off into the water was fantastic and really cleared my mind from the rush back in the city. Snorkeling too! You see just a little bit of life there down in the area you swim in, tiny types of fish that move in packs, and interesting plants living on the sea bottom. A little bit to explore in this very clear Mediterranean ocean. Very refreshing stop offs I would state. Make certain that, naturally, you are happy and comfortable in deep seas before you get in. And one other item to be sure of: Slap on sunscreen to guard against the sun!
Overall Thoughts: Is This Tour For You?
So, yeah, this boat tour near Barcelona could just make your vacation memories that much better. You could take photographs of all the eye catching points or maybe watch it through your own two eyes, which so happens to be one thing people don’t do so often now a days. If you’re thinking of touring, keep these opinions listed below, in mind when coming to a decision if a boat trip on the water fits what your ideal of excitement is.
- What it is: a relaxed method of scoping out Costa Brava near Barcelona through the seaside and with a filling meal onboard.
- Eyes on This: The views from aboard the ship give opportunities to photograph very high and steep slopes and oceans that look to touch forever far off!
- Food: Typically some fish meal ready to eat that really goes with sailing; yet the menu could use just slightly more diversity, potentially.
- Water-Based time to spend Stops where individuals may swim actually allow you into cool clean areas and is the top of the list as things to enjoy on this journey.
- A Suggestion: Those wanting simple experiences with just incredible scenic views of seaside beauty or others desiring quiet exploration with water-filled ventures would feel particularly fulfilled in this case!
