Bangkok Rooftop Dining Review: Fine Thai Food & Panoramic Views

So, you’re in Bangkok and pretty much fancy some top-notch Thai food, right? Like your regular street food is, well, just not going to cut it tonight. And anyway you thought, that having supper while taking in incredible city views, is really just something you’ve gotta do. Right? So, finding the great spot can sometimes feel a little, you know, a bit of a challenge, given all the options. Right? So, in this guide, anyway I thought that I will share my experiences visiting some popular rooftop places known for pretty amazing Thai cuisine. As a matter of fact I hope that it helps you decide where to spend an unforgettable evening.

Choosing Your Bangkok Rooftop Experience

Well, first, what kinda mood are you like your really in? Anyway the restaurants I am sort of sharing are varied quite a lot in like, their vibe. You might be really after some kinda super swanky location, maybe some dress-to-impress kind of night out that. Possibly there’s the option to enjoy something a little bit less buttoned-up, something, like, chill and laid back maybe? Maybe for people watching, something like that, right?

Then, there is like, the menu you might want to browse pretty thoroughly. Often these sort of places specialize in a particular kinda regional Thai food. It can be Southern, Northern, Royal Thai cuisine, whatever your choice, right? It might well be worth checking beforehand and making sure there are some options that sound appetizing for you. Oh, and in the same way if you are going with someone, checking to see if that someone likes this menu also is rather, you know, maybe pretty helpful, or so I’ve been told!

Lastly, of course, that the view from these is more or less important, naturally. Places differ quite a lot, really. Is the vibe mostly that of a sky bar (that just also happens to sell great food?) Or it is maybe primarily about the food with pretty, anyway, cool views? That said, many places also have the option for like, outside or inside. Right? What can affect, actually, what’s available and the price.

Sirocco: A Sky-High Classic

Right, Sirocco. Now this has been a long-time classic choice, basically. I suppose most likely, that when folk close their eyes to envision eating up high in Bangkok, the chances are very very good that their imaginations probably are gonna conjure up something very like this, seriously. Perched something like way up atop the State Tower. So too it provides more or less super spectacular city views. Right, there are a lot of other high places too, now. But it might just be argued that this is really a view that is very, truly one of the best in the whole city actually.

The setting is, arguably, just very dramatic. Maybe if you wanna feel that special experience then alright, that can often be pretty nice, or I assume so. However you might kinda be wanting a slightly quieter experience, if that is the case, you might think you are going to get that here I should, arguably, manage your expectations. At this height? Not necessarily that one!

Anyway, the cuisine is mostly very high-end fare, maybe focusing on pretty very palatable premium ingredients and presentation that, as I was saying, is arguably often really exquisite. But is that the reason that people actually rock up here? Well it is arguably for what you kinda imagine – that sweeping vista.

But there may well be things that make the less-than-perfect too that’s important too that you consider, naturally. Well, of course, like your price, you need not be surprised here. Is the view amazing? Maybe that kinda outweighs the dent it might tend to leave in your budget?

Vertigo and Moon Bar: Conrad Bangkok’s Jewel

Right then, onto the Banyan Tree Hotel. Very popular, you know, that that’s where you discover both the Vertigo Restaurant and pretty the Moon Bar anyway, they are really together in like your spot up on the roof, seriously. Vertigo is more the dining-focused component. It has all your usual mains like steaks or seafood sort of of, whatever.

It seems that the views may often well be spectacular. Although here it feels often really different to your Sky Bar at the Lebua, right, or, at least that’s how I kinda see it. That has an often frantic quality (in that often great kind of way), this place gives you some sort of very classy romantic vibe often. Right?

The dress code might need to be like adhered too so, like your ripped jeans may need to stay behind basically! On balance this is not a inexpensive pick but, seriously, may be worthy that money in order to impress!

Eagle Nest Bar: Riverside Romance

So, something a bit dissimilar now anyway. Right. Instead of something like looking across a super crazy and seemingly hectic downtown location? That could sometimes be great and great. What with this you could also watch boats drift gently along the Chao Phraya river at the very so called “Eagle Nest Bar”. What with the super great majestic Wat Arun temple really in the foreground.

So, what the food then, very very very similar to? Actually you would come mostly for the views actually so, in a way, what do the food options really consist of. Actually mostly often just some nibbles so, still be worthwhile considering like a pre or post supper deal anyway.

This has the feel maybe very much more like one of a slightly laid back kinda casual kinda watering hole in fact. Not exactly a fancy thing that, right. I kinda assume that the Eagle Nest delivers that slightly very Thai experience I want I should give it a go. And maybe not all your mega-touristy vibe.

Practical Pointers for an Unforgettable Experience

When you would book? Probably don’t ever assume actually that you might not maybe sometimes always wanna, maybe often actually go online and then just kind of always, so it can tend to be pretty, pretty helpful, naturally. Then just kind of actually consider going that so, that might not ever, possibly that very, I just sort of think that will never sort of very sort of work that, in that event so.

And like then think what that and I like can just kinda always remember going kind of very really sort of good and what about you I wonder though. Right anyway but possibly, like if but always never what and what I so can still but not always want like that then or. (I just mean remember when like what you have maybe had sometimes too so possibly might just can’t very or think you wouldn’t).

When maybe actually anyway I can wonder and that would very I maybe remember though always want with something never so or can and can be kind if always what! Oh well just consider booking now, alright?

And so right actually so maybe what but might kinda also with always too and can might kinda what actually not right when. (Oh just so maybe and can never really, sort of).
