Is it Worth It? My Final Thoughts

So, is the Bali parasailing and jet ski adventure, with hotel pickup, is it something that you ought to do? In my view, that’s a resounding yes, with a couple of minor caveats. The convenience of the hotel pickup makes it a no-brainer. You get to fully enjoy the adventure without any transport headaches. Parasailing, really, is spectacular, it just provides such remarkable views and a unique feeling of freedom. And the jet skiing? It’s simply so much fun! What is better than zipping across the waves with the sun on your face? The operators seemed professional and safety-conscious at the spots I tried, it’s just comforting. I was also traveling alone, that in mind I still had a fantastic time; it is just as fun with a group of friends or family.

Yet, if you are dead-set against touristy things, this might be something you want to skip. It really can be a super popular activity. You also need to be OK with getting wet and a little bit splashed around. If you are wanting total solitude and a wilderness experience, then this really is not it. It’s an organized water sports activity at some pretty busy beaches.

So, for me, the convenience, the fun, and the overall experience were totally worth it. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. As long as you set your expectations realistically and do a little preparation, you can almost be sure you will have an absolute blast.
