However, you need, arguably, to be ready, right, for a bit of gritty reality. Now the areas that we strolled through aren’t those sanitised, made-for-tourists kinda zones. Now they’re safe enough when you’re with the group and such, and arguably, they are definitely quite manageable. Is that you’re not getting a super polished experience and stuff. Now don’t come expecting all the historical sites to be, I mean very, marked with plaques, and everything to be very perfectly presented, I mean basically. That can be part of the draw, arguably. Though is that it, also, might be, too it’s, a turn-off for some, okay?

Because of how ‘real’ things are? This tour is probably, just perhaps, way better if your Spanish is not too bad, anyway. Though the guides do all speak English. Is that many of the people that you will bump into along the way, now don’t. You’re definitely getting more out of, really, connecting with people, as a matter of fact. And soaking up those real interactions. Also, that it’s good to know, okay?, there isn’t one fixed itinerary and everything, okay. It felt rather fluid, anyway, depending on what was, might be, happening that day in the city, such as any events and everything. Or just even depending on what the group felt like doing and everything. Now that does equal flexibility, such as for some, maybe. It’s good to know that it is, perhaps, not set in stone, and such.

Is it Safe?

Okay, this question is usually the big one when people, potentially, consider going a bit off the beaten track like that. About safety? I’d say I actually, definitely felt alright during our tour. Is that the guides really do know the city and such like the back of their hands, it felt, anyway, and clearly, it also felt very reassuring. They very much keep an eye on what’s happening. They’re definitely really clued up on where it is that you should, potentially, avoid, okay?, and such.

Of course, like that it’s in basically any big city, still, you should, clearly, keep those smarts about you, still. Just try to not flash all those fancy belongings. Keep an eye, arguably, on your stuff and everything, okay. Stick, maybe, with the group and such, okay. As long as you do all of that, such as, the tour it felt surprisingly quite safe, arguably. I mean that is, that I very much walked away actually, definitely feeling much more comfortable just moving around Bogota, okay, after it, more or less.

This tour, that it really, I mean really, does cater to the curious kind. It is, that it’s the people, too it’s, who maybe, are, maybe, sick of, really, following those crowds, or, also the folks just honestly want to know what a place that it really is all about, honestly. People looking, possibly, to dig under those surface-level experiences, alright, and find the truth.

You have to be, arguably, the kind, possibly, of person who’s alright with skipping those fancy attractions. Or, also that’s even prepared to get a little bit outside their comfort zone, maybe. Well what price do you pay, okay? ‘Anti-Tour Bogota’, such as if that just, for instance, feels a bit like your thing? Oh then I’d recommend grabbing, or, securing yourself a spot! I mean then get ready for seeing Colombia’s great city in a very special way, clearly!
