Khao Sok Treehouse Trip Review: Meals & Jungle Nights

Thinking about getting away for a bit and heading into Khao Sok National Park for an overnight treehouse stay? Like your thinking. So, that is what I did, and here is my take on this kinda cool getaway, meals included and all. You may or may not already be clued-up about Khao Sok. Basically, this national park, is that gem of southern Thailand, it features dense jungle, old limestone cliffs, and a big, shiny lake right at its heart. But is it the place for you?

In general, it is what you would call buffet-style or family-style kind of dining. What that essentially means is one big spread, everyone dips in. Expect, for instance, rice dishes, curries, probably also some vegetable bits to balance the books. It does generally work for vegetarians; conversely, options can be limited in that case, actually, if a guest wants a full-on specialist diet, so best is just tell ’em early. Just one pointer?

The treehouse providers almost certainly attempt getting you to experience what anyone would call regional goodness; anyway, don’t imagine that sort of silver service kinda restaurant quality experience. You can get decent, tasty grub prepared with heart, it’s very important.

Jungle Activities and Exploration

So, you came here to gaze at the trees, or were you gonna do a spot of Indiana Jones? Fair enough, my thoughts precisely! Basically, there are commonly choices to do walks right into the jungle.
