Delhi Full-Day City Tour: Is It Worth It? (A Detailed Review)

Thinking about doing that Delhi Private Full-Day City Tour of Old and New Delhi? Very well, you’re in the right spot! A trip to Delhi, is that something you’re trying to make a memory to remember? Or a bit overwhelming with all that there is to check out, seemingly? I get it. So, to make your plans easier, I took this very tour, is that something that sounds pretty cool?, and I will give you my totally honest thoughts. Was it cool? What did I like? And were there some things that perhaps could be better? I will get into it all. Just kick back, get comfortable, and let me walk you through this.

What to Count on From the Tour

Right, so the Delhi Private Full-Day City Tour, alright is that something you feel you might need? This trip packs quite a bit into, just about, eight or nine hours. We are talking about seeing all kinds of interesting spots, more or less starting with Old Delhi’s famous Red Fort, maybe a familiar landmark. Pretty quickly after, it was, almost, onto the hectic streets of Chandni Chowk, which is that older part of the market area, usually, a full place with food and different things to pick up if you like to go shopping. You get to try out some of the best food in Delhi there, typically street eats, but there can be so much there you want to be sure to be selective! Next up: New Delhi and its fancy India Gate, that stands almost like a reminder, seemingly. Later, there’s Humayun’s Tomb, like an intro before seeing the Taj Mahal, often really beautifully built, but maybe in need of some fixing. So, that too seems about right? Lastly, and of course, Qutub Minar is also included, seemingly making this adventure one for the history books and for sightseers!

Red Fort and Old Delhi Exploration

Getting into the Red Fort, it felt so old, so it just might make you, literally, go back a number of years in your head. It seems quite grand, maybe? Though some pieces are definitely needing, in a way, some help. Next up, that, very much, insane market Chandni Chowk, typically had my feelings all messed up. As a matter of fact there was so much happening at once. In other words, so many foods looked like foods you must experience but there wasn’t a place I could sample them from everywhere because I may have other places to see on my trip.

India Gate and New Delhi’s Charm

Moving from Old Delhi to New Delhi, now, in some respects, that feels like it came from one place to somewhere entirely another, seemingly. So, New Delhi is open, basically the roads were wide, that’s not all. Then the India Gate is really something. Standing tall for the soldiers from India, alright? I saw lots of families and happy tourists kicking back and checking things out near it. When I got back home, I took pictures that really did great when people got to view them.

Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar

Humayun’s Tomb is often spoken about, that is that, if you are headed towards seeing the Taj Mahal? Then it’s a thing you want to get to, still. Seemingly designed much like the Taj Mahal, it would almost be practice! You know, Qutub Minar is tall and you would look at that, yet that minaret stands pretty highly too. I did some walking around near both spots and it did just show much of the country’s culture to me from way back in the day. When you get here try to find a quiet place where you can just feel the energy from years past.

My Experience Up Close

As I did the full-day trip I learned a bunch from the city more or less right off the bat. Very well the guides really helped too, basically, since the guide on my tour was super easy to kick back with, often explaining all kinds of stuff that added a layer, right?, to the historical spots and city information that was not things you would catch just from books, or by doing things solo. Now the transportation was great; I had a driver and getting around in a vehicle set aside simply for that tour was so easy. But the food adventure?, Well you’re always, clearly, rolling the dice, but I will touch on this a little.

About the Guides

Very much if you book on this tour I recommend hoping that your tour dude, really, digs giving lots of great background. Very well having them tell me everything concerning the older spots actually got me emotionally linked to that era from that spot. He did not let up about answering anything from a wide view; so if I just up and asked things about Delhi culture in the now, then you would hear his point too. Is that not nice to have when going on a tour?

Ease of Travel

As a matter of fact navigating Delhi can be tricky because there is, pretty much, an onslaught of cars that get in the roads, anyway. Being able to have a set of wheels only for that made sure, literally, that I was not wasting my clock when looking into Delhi sites. Very well I wish everyone could use what I did in going around there.

Sampling Of Tastes?

Getting street food in Chandni Chowk sounded so epic. A little of everything is seemingly the way to, almost, sum up all that can go into that area of foods in one sitting. So it is key to simply ask local peeps what can cause problems! Very well, sadly to report?, maybe I had one item that made things a bit gross a bit later when this experience was complete. So now maybe you would listen when I say take just a small bite of any choice! If that feels good you are, arguably, on a roll!

What Was Rad, Not So Rad About That Trip

Let me get down, that, to brass tacks, typically for my overview of what did not suck?, well, the historical value was out of sight. Seeing spots that stood a test was what made me want to come over for a look in, seemingly, that location to begin with. Then the comfort was too totally awesome; being picked up, literally, and rolling only with people for this tour kept the hectic nature of travel light and loose. Then I just had food poisoning or what but as a word to any wise tourist please simply trust local tastes when it has to deal with grub off any avenue. Is that not an important thing when someone likes to globetrot?

Very, very fast that, sometimes, a guy could not catch enough
Tourist spots tend to, seemingly, draw lots of other persons too!

Hints To Enjoy This More?

Thinking of traveling like I did? As I recall here is, of course, a hot tip pile for the would-be globetrotter. At the drop of a dime just wear shoes that do just fine walking through markets and old rock. That should keep your puppies chill and calm. Then I recommend beginning the trip pretty refreshed. A little of the items to witness there is in front of any face when just looking at locations.

Always drink water to be cool on hot, hotter than heck streets!
Use your cash with gurus to get grub safely and securely!
Simply hear lots of advice but make up your take!

So, the Delhi Private Full-Day City Tour? Well that depends, still, right? You got persons or those not up to rolling alone? Is time short?, well, then roll! Then a local’s details from spots cannot hurt, or do not bother you. Now? I, as a matter of fact, enjoyed my exploration around with a tour squad but do I think every person would kick it the equal to mine? Who knows? Always use the heart that could beat. As I recall you would only check that spot from Old and Newer Delhi just one occasion! Here is hoping I simply got the trip spot lit just nicely enough for peeps out there who are asking the eternal “DO IT” question?
