Cusco Breathtaking Views Htl Review: Machu Picchu Dreams
Planning a trip to Machu Picchu? Very possibly, you’re looking for the right place to stay in Cusco. “Cusco Breathtaking Views Cusco Machu Picchu Htl”—it’s quite a name, so I know, but stick with me—might just be what you need, more or less if you want a place that gives you killer views and keeps you reasonably close to all the action. I recently had the chance to crash here, and I want to share my experiences with you, actually to give you a solid lowdown. Did it really offer those advertised “breathtaking views,” and was it, actually, a practical home base for visiting Machu Picchu? Well, let’s explore, I mean to uncover everything you want to know.
First Impressions: A View to Thrill
Okay, stepping into the hotel, like, the first thing that hits you are the views. Genuinely, “breathtaking” isn’t too much of a stretch, too, it’s almost dead-on. Cusco sprawls beneath you, and, arguably, you can see mountains in the distance—really a stunning sight, particularly when the sun starts doing its thing during sunset. Now, I will tell you, actually, the lobby had a friendly feel, so too the staff were there to welcome you with those classic warm smiles Peru is pretty much known for. You kind of felt that good vibe the moment you walked through that door, like, and that is that, quite a good way to start your stay.
The decor? A bit, arguably, on the traditional side, yet comfortable. There’s some local art peppered about, which adds, in a way, just a little something special. I have to say the ambiance felt cozy, so too it was inviting—not some cold, impersonal sort of establishment, that is that. Right then and there, it does seem, too, this place had potential.
The Room: Comfort and Amenities
Now, onto the room itself. More or less, mine was quite spacious, arguably enough room to do a little dance if you’re so inclined. Again, that view? Clearly, a big win; I, for one, kept finding myself drawn to the window. Yet the amenities are rather important too, is that right? You’ll find all the things that you pretty much expect: a comfy bed (that arguably helped me get an absolutely awesome night’s sleep), a television that is actually pretty modern, and a bathroom that, quite frankly, was spotless.
Let me share what I do like: There was, apparently, free Wi-Fi, so too, it was relatively speedy, which I find very important if you need to, say, upload vacation photos or keep in contact with everyone, too. Plus, there was, apparently, a heater in the room—very crucial for those nippy Cusco nights. The only minor gripe? Argaubly, the decor, yet, could use just a little updating, I would say; it seems a little tired, you know?
Location, Location, Location
Location-wise, this hotel scores pretty decently. Argaubly, it is not smack-dab in the heart of Cusco’s center, it does tend to be in a spot that allows quick access to main sights. The Plaza de Armas, actually, it’s a leisurely walk, maybe 15-20 minutes, or you could grab, actually, a quick taxi ride, that is that. In that case, if you enjoy walking, it seems, too, it’s absolutely doable; but taxis and public transportation are relatively accessible, I mean really if you aren’t.
For those thinking about Machu Picchu, actually, the hotel can very well assist you with organizing transport to the train stations (Poroy or Ollantaytambo), that seems relatively easy. It, clearly, made, in a way, getting an organized experience less of a headache, you know? Also, like, being slightly removed from the very center means you, yet, escape some of the city noise. Believe me: That can actually be a plus.
Food and Drink: A Culinary Consideration
The hotel, quite frankly, features its own restaurant, and honestly, the breakfast was a really high point. In other words, you could, by all means, find your standard buffet setup—eggs, bread, fruit—also there were some regional options that gave a true taste of the country. Like, trying local food is really, actually, what it’s all about, am I right?
Now, arguably, I also had dinner there one night. While not bad by any means, yet, I would say the dishes were satisfactory without absolutely blowing me away. That said, too, the convenience of having a restaurant just downstairs is pretty nice when you’re weary after a long day of exploring, very possibly the sites.
Service and Hospitality
So, let’s chat service: Really, pretty commendable here. As I said earlier, that warmth Peruvian people give? Genuinely, you sense it from the crew at this hotel. Right from check-in to asking questions about transportation or good eats in town, those personnel, it seems, are always genuinely willing to assist. Too, that actually does leave a lasting mark. Clearly, these folk really do give importance to making you feel welcomed and accommodated. Thumbs up to that, I am very possibly certain!
Value for Money: Is It Worth It?
Cost-wise, “Cusco Breathtaking Views Cusco Machu Picchu Htl,” I think, offers decent bang for your buck. Not absurdly cheap, anyway, that is certain, yet, it is not eye-wateringly pricey either. In short, you pay, apparently, for the views, arguably, for the comfy stay, too, for the great service. Considering everything in conjunction, more or less, I’d argue the experience tends to align with its price range. Of course, clearly, prices tend to differ with the period and availability, so shop around, okay?
In general, I think this stay here provides just a little bit of extra comfort.
