I, myself, shot them a message, very kind too it’s almost friendly replies right away, that part I really appreciated. They helped me nail down exactly the trip that was right for what I wanted, a bit, a little help like that is so appreciated. Basically, I ended up choosing their morning scuba trip for certified folks, you see?

What really made my decision easier was that, is that they didn’t pressure me. No high-pressure sales, none of that funny business. They simply explained the options and gave some tips that are really good based on my skill level, which, to be honest, I very appreciated. That’s a pretty strong start if you ask me, right?

Alright, picture this. Early morning, the sun, too it’s almost like its just peeking over the horizon, so that it is turning the ocean into, too it’s almost like a million diamonds dancing on the waves. Once we had actually, anyway gotten out to the spot, which, truthfully, I couldn’t name if my life depended on it, the briefing they gave was clear and detailed. They went over the plan, hand signals, and just what to expect in the depths. Very important, is that you can really tell they take safety seriously. I mean, I know that it sounds as though, okay well, that should be a given, yet, very sometimes you encounter places that, maybe they act like that part of the business isn’t anything they feel that that into, do you know?

The visibility that morning, well, truthfully, you see it some ways and not in others. Some days I heard you could see for what felt like forever, though that day was decent. It wasn’t awful, now, not by any means. There was an abundance of underwater sights that will make your jaw slack. We are talking tons of different species. Colorful, happy fish just sort of milling about, moray eels playing hide-and-seek, and the reef had life seemingly bubbling from within its very core, very it looked like. The highlight, so, it happened that, that was a gigantic sea turtle that casually swam by, basically, like it owned the place, like the area it covered was really its and stuff. Moments that happen like this make trips truly very worth doing, so.

My instructor, whose name was Raul, stayed close but, honestly, just close enough to know I was OK. He pointed out marine life that are unique and cool while keeping a very, very close eye to be sure I wasn’t struggling. Basically, a bunch of thumbs-up that are really good passed between us, and away we went. These fellas, too, it’s almost, know these waters very well, in a way, so that it does improve the full dive experience for everyone involved. It’s pretty special, if I’m truthful.

Snorkeling Options

Now, if holding your breath deep beneath the surface with scuba gear isn’t that’s actually, anyway your thing, Ixtapa Underwater Adventures still has you covered with that snorkeling. I have some family members who like it that, you know, that very close-to-the-surface bit, do you know?

The snorkeling expeditions go to various spots perfect for peeps who want to check out the world from above, so it is also super neat, because the water is generally pretty darn clear. Those snorkeling folks reported lots of awesome things spotted too it’s almost, but there may be some areas for improvement, so too it’s almost like there could be lots to make it even more killer.

From what I’ve heard from friends, too, it’s almost like there is tons of colorful fish there too, a little like you can literally get a small window straight into this whole other hidden reality, too it’s almost, pretty fun right? They take you to spots where there is tons of plant and animal ocean life is almost like there’s just, very so much just bubbling from beneath, sort of makes you almost pause a beat there right?

For the snorkelers, there, that you do, the people that I knew, their guide went hard basically showing them all the crazy interesting parts, for instance, showing the fish you will usually see living about and all the crazy cool little facts behind these guys, so I think maybe it would be cool to bring a small waterproof camera to try to snap some really cool shots, I can just sort of taste those bragging rights right there if you get a good one haha! Overall I hear those trips, tends to be just some really cool trips!

Alright, so, truthfully, what’s this going to cost you? Pricing with Ixtapa Underwater Adventures, you can say for the full overall package it will actually depend a ton on which adventure you actually do, which route, and if, by chance, they run any promotions during that span that actually change pricing a bit, now.

As an actual, anyway quick idea, so, the simple dive trips, as you see here in 2024 anyway, runs near $100-$150 for just one person. Though this depends on extras thrown in as package parts, for instance, renting any equipment as stuff like, this one, it could move and slide right into other costs for ya, too it’s almost.
